Fireseed Musings on Multifarious Music-Making in March

Fireseed is busily and excitedly getting ready for three gigs in three weeks with three completely different set lists.

For our St. Paddy’s Day gig we are of course preparing an all-Celtic set to play at the Rock Garden Cafe in Watertown, CT gig tomorrow. And boy are we having fun with the Irish songs! We have added SEVERAL to our repertoire, from the soulful ballads that we adore to rousing pub songs that everyone can join in on, accompanied by Daniel Pac’s unique piano sound.

Saturday the 23rd, we will be accompanying the Greenfield Community Chorus at their Early Spring Concert, Let the Mystery Be, at the Second Congregational Church in Greenfield, MA. This means covering a variety of music in multiple genres ~ folk, pop, R&B, sacred-earth, seasonal, chants, gospel, Celtic ~ to back up this lively group of singers whose intention is “to experience joyful communion and ecstatic expression by singing together.”

And Saturday the 30th we are preparing to perform a very special concert at Mocha Maya’s Coffee Pub in Shelburne Falls, MA featuring many of our original songs accompanied on our new piano keyboard.

We are so thrilled to be presenting this diversity of music and are hoping to inspire and uplift you all at one of these events soon.
